Approve the substitute rates for 2025-2026 school year.

Category Rate of Pay

• Substitute Certification: $140.00 or $145/day*
• Certified Teacher: $155.00 or $165.00/day*
• Nurse: $225.00/day
• Support Staff: $17.00/hour
• Custodial Staff: $17.00/hour
• Secretary Substitute: $17.00/hour

*Rate increase occurs after 25 days of substituting each school year.

Education and Qualifications:

Successful applicants must hold the necessary credits and certifications required for the interested position, possess a valid NJ Criminal History check, proof of TB test results.
