Job Description

St. Johnsbury School District is seeking to hire as needed substitutes. St. Johnsbury School has approximately 600 students in grades preschool through grade 8. We have approximately 250 employees. An "as needed" substitute logs into Frontline with an account we provide to chose which subtitute openings each day to accept. As needed substitutes only work on school days during the school year. It's a great part-time job at your convenience.

We are looking for as needed substitutes as paraeducators, teachers, and nurses (must be state licensed).

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma

Transportation to get to work on time

Ability to pass a fingerprint background check without issues.

Ability to pass an Agency of Human Services background check without issues.

Ability to use google platforms and other software such as Frontline software.

Pay is:$116.00 for 6.5 hours as a paraeducator; $160.00 for 8 hours as Teacher; $35.00 an hour as a school nurse

There are no benefits or paid time off for as needed substitutes. If you are interested in part-time work, making your own schedule and enjoy working with children.
