Job summary

Perry Local Schools seeks a Certified Substitute Van Driver to transport students safely on a as-needed basis. The role requires reliable, student-focused driving in alignment with district policies and state regulations.

Hours are variable, Monday–Friday as needed, with pay per hour and standard benefits per the negotiated agreement. Ideal candidates hold active school van driver certification or are willing to obtain it, pass background checks and pre-employment screenings, and demonstrate

• School van driver certification required or ability to obtain.
• Able to work with students.

Responsibilities

• Transport students in a school van as needed.
• Maintain safe driving practices and supervise students while in transit.
• Complete required pre-employment checks and certifications as applicable.
