Job summary

Mount Greylock Regional School District is seeking substitute teachers and paraprofessionals for the remainder of the 2026-2027 academic year. Assignments vary and are offered on an as-needed basis across Lanesborough Elementary, Williamstown Elementary, and Mount Greylock Regional School.

Responsibilities include following lesson plans, maintaining a safe classroom, supporting student learning, and assisting with duties such as recess and arrival/dismissal.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with children preferred but not required.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different grade levels and classroom settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and daily routines as provided by the teacher of record.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support student learning and engagement in alignment with school and district expectations.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned, such as recess/lunch supervision, arrival/dismissal assistance, or one-to-one student support.
