Job summary

New Horizon Academy is seeking a Substitute Childcare Teacher to join the Plymouth and West metro area team. This role is eligible for a hiring bonus and requires availability 7am–4pm or 8am–5pm, at least three days weekly.

Substitutes may travel up to 20 miles to different schools within the metro area while supporting young learners in a caring classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3.
• Ability to work 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm at least three days a week.
• Willing to travel up to 20 miles within the metro area.
• Positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude.
• Desire to learn and grow as an educator.

**HIRING BONUS ELIGIBLE**

Hourly wage range: $21.00 - $25.40

We are seeking aSUBSTITUTE CHILDCARE TEACHERto join our team at New Horizon Academy in the Plymouth and West metro area.

Substitutes in our Northwest area will be responsible for working at schools in the Fridley, Brooklyn Park, Ramsey and Anoka areas.

All applicantsMUST:

• Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or a CDA, to be considered teacher-qualified under MN Rule 3.
• Be able to work 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm a minimum of three days a week.
• Be willing and able to travel up to 20 miles to different schools within the metro area.
• Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
• Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
• Enjoy working with children!

~Previous childcare experience preferred but not required.
