Guidepost Montessori is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher to support mixed-age Montessori classrooms when full-time teachers are out. No formal Montessori training is required; training is provided during orientation and onboarding.

This role is ideal for individuals seeking flexible, part-time hours while making a positive impact on young children. Substitutes help sustain routines across ages 0–6 and often move into full-time Assistant Teacher positions.

Qualifications

About the Role

This is anon-call, as-needed position, ideal for individuals seeking flexible hours while making a positive impact on young children.

As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll support multiple classrooms serving children ages0–6, helping maintain a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Many of our substitute teachers go on to becomefull-time Assistant Teachers, making this a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori.

What You’ll Do

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred (but not required)

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
• Recent experience working with children ages 0–6
