Job summary

Fowler Unified School District is posting a pool for substitute teachers to cover on-call positions as needed. The daily rate is $165, with a higher rate of $175 after 15 consecutive days for long-term assignments.

A $1,000 bonus is paid in July for teachers who work 50 days or more as substitutes in the district. Applicants must have a valid California teaching credential or a 30-day substitute permit, and complete the EdJoin application with supporting documents.

• Copy of CBEST and/or CSET scores.
• Copy of all current credentials held, or evidence of qualifying.
• Transcripts with degrees posted.

Job description

This job posting is for a Substitute Teacher position; this is an on call/as needed position. The daily rate for this position is $165.00. For long term Substitute Teaching assignments after the 15th consecutive day the daily rate changes to $175.00 per day. Fowler Unified School District offers a $1,000 bonus, paid out in July, for all substitute teachers who work 50 days or more as substitute teachers in the district. This posting is to create a pool for future positions that may become available.
