The role ensures continuity of learning by following lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting students’ academic and social development.

Responsibilities include delivering plans, managing behavior, and adapting to various grade levels.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid substitute teaching license or higher license as required by state regulations.
• Clean criminal background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different classroom settings.
• Patience, professionalism, and student-centered mindset.
• Adherence to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
