Job summary

Endeavor Schools’ Phoenix Ranch in California is seeking a Substitute Childcare Teacher to maintain continuity in our educational programs when regular teachers are absent. The ideal candidate loves working with young children and is flexible and patient.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and a supportive environment, including education incentives and career development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 12 Child Development Units required by the State of California.
• Experience with toddlers and preschoolers is preferred.

Are You Qualified?

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
• Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
• 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are required
• Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well‑being and development of young learners are essential to this position.
