Job summary

Bergamo Montessori School in California seeks a Substitute Childcare Teacher to support our daily program when regular teachers are absent. You will help lead learning activities, support children's development, and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom.

Starting pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. The role welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds who love children and can collaborate with a team to sustain high-quality early childhood education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 Child Development Units required.
• Experience with toddler and preschool students preferred.
• Ability to use a laptop and tablet in daily work.

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
• Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
• 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
• Strong collaboration and communication skills are required
• Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position.
