Job summary

Merlin Day Academy, located in Chicago, IL, seeks Substitute Teachers to deliver individualized classroom instruction and help implement IEPs. You will support students in meeting state standards and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to maximize learning outcomes.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or higher, a substitute license, and preferably an LBS1 endorsement or PEL. The role requires the ability to lift 35lbs and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Job description

Merlin Day Academy is an intensive therapeutic day program providing education and therapeutic intervention in a supportive classroom environment for children ages 6-14 with autism, AHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. Our relationship-based, family-centered approach focuses on helping students build the skills that foster success in their community and beyond.
