Bank Street College of Education is seeking a Substitute Teacher in New York, NY. Schedule is 8:00-3:30 on days and hours when needed. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

The role focuses on supervising preschoolers, promoting exploration and development, and maintaining a safe classroom with collaboration among teachers, therapists, and administrators. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred; prior preschool experience and knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience with preschool children in a child care setting and managing a classroom preferred.
• Experience with progressive education preferred.
• Willingness to collaborate and work as part of a team, as well as develop skills in working with individual children, small groups, and the whole class.
• Strong interpersonal skills
