Job summary

Acelero Learning in Racine, WI is seeking an On Call Substitute Preschool Teacher to support classrooms and help children reach their fullest potential. You will collaborate with teachers to maintain daily operations and deliver engaging early education experiences.

The role emphasizes social and emotional development, positive guidance, and active family involvement within Head Start programs. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; substitute certification is preferred or a degree,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Substitute Certification preferred or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Willing to complete Introduction to Childcare Profession Certification or already completed.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with other teachers in the assigned classroom and center.
• Support the social and emotional development of children using positive guidance.
• Encourage family involvement and build relationships with families in a Head Start program.
• Follow all center policies on health, safety, nutrition, and operations.
