Job summary

Swing Education in California is seeking K-12 substitute teachers who can choose when, where, and how you teach. You’ll earn more and feel supported every step of the way as you gain flexible, real-world classroom experience.

Daily rates range from $180 to $200, depending on school, location, and certification. You’ll benefit from higher earning potential, real-time requests, and tools like SubPlan.ai and Permit Assist to help with permits.

Qualifications

• California teaching credential or Emergency 30-Day Permit is required.
• CL-505d Emergency Permit acceptable with 90+ college credits.
• Background check and TB test are required.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned classes as needed in local California schools.
• Follow and adapt lesson plans with Swing resources when provided.
• Maintain classroom management and safety during assignments.
