Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking substitute teachers who demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and classroom instruction. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring, perceptive approach to teaching students.

Responsibilities

• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain Records: Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher.
• Maintain Classroom: Keep a clean, attractive and well-ordered classroom; know emergency procedures.
• Communicate: Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community; communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and with the teacher.
