Job summary

New Horizon Academy in Kansas City, KS is seeking Substitute Teachers to support learning across multiple Kansas locations. The role requires meeting state qualifications, reliability, and a student-centered approach.

You will work a full-time Monday–Friday schedule, 6:30am–6:00pm with a team of educators, providing engaging activities and collaborating with families to foster children’s growth. A $2,000 hiring bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Meet state requirements for teacher qualification per Kansas Child Care Licensing
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to work a full-time schedule, Monday–Friday between 6:30am–6:00pm
• Positive work ethic and team-centered attitude
• Previous Early Childhood Education experience preferred
• Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study as required by state regulations
• Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
