Job Description

Under the direction of the Building Administration, the substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction in assigned subjects in the absence of the classroom teacher. Facilitates instruction, evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives. Participates and collaborates with other instructional professionals as needed.

• Provides and delivers classroom instruction to students incorporating the essential elements of instruction
• Establishes and maintains management in the classroom, school premises or during school activities by communicating expectations
• Collaborates with educational professionals and administrators regarding the needs of students, instructional needs, new instructional technologies or approaches to student problems, learning or curriculum

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree

Current Minnesota teaching license required
