Responsibilities

  • Review and implement regular teacher’s routines, procedures, lesson plans and curriculum objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment and supervise students.
  • Provide meaningful instruction to students and build positive relationships with students, families and staff.
  • Work cooperatively with families and school staff and communicate with administration as needed.
  • Maintain high energy, professional competence and adherence to school policies and safeguarding.

  • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment (supervision); provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure success for every student
  • Provide meaningful instruction to students
  • Develop and maintain positive student, teacher, staff and parent relationships
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with students, families and school staff
  • Report any student injuries, illness and serious discipline problems to school administration
  • Maintain a high level of energy throughout the entire school day
  • Maintain a high level of professional competence
  • Comply with all policies and procedures of the school, including but not limited to safeguarding and health and safety
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

This position is conditional to the provision of federal criminal background checks covering the countries that you have lived and worked in for the last 10 years and any convictions highlighted will be reviewed against standard Safeguarding principles of working with children. All checks requested to be received prior to commencement of employment.
