Valor-Public-Schools in Leander, TX is seeking substitute teachers to cover duties when regular teachers are absent. Substitutes may fill roles during prep time and as assigned by the Substitute Coordinator.

A typical day starts at 7:20 a.m. and ends with the completion of duties (3:10 p.m. or 3:30 p.m.). The daily pay is $115, with $150 for long-term assignments, and half-day pay for up to 4 hours.

Position Overview

Substitute teachers at Valor play a vital role in performing the duties of regular teachers when they are absent. Substitutes are required to assist in a wide range of different capacities, including during teacher prep time, as assigned by the Substitute Coordinator.

A full day of substitute teaching begins at 7:20 a.m. and ends at the conclusion of the teacher’s duties for the day (3:10 p.m. or 3:30 p.m.). The daily rate is $115 with $150 for a long-term substitute position. The pay for working ½ day is half of the daily rate. A half day of substitute teaching includes up to 4 hours of work.
