Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Ohio seeks substitute teachers to provide biblically aligned instruction on an as-needed basis. This part-time, hourly role requires a mature Christian faith and active church participation, plus strong communication skills.

You will complete substitute teacher training, teach LifeWise classes, and implement the provided curriculum. Maintain a safe, orderly classroom, follow discipline policies, and document attendance while representing LifeWise in the community and

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.

• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Keep classroom orderly and know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community.
• Communicate lesson plans with volunteers before class and coordinate duties.
• Communicate with the teacher.

Overview

LifeWise substitute teachers will demonstrate excellence in Biblical knowledge and teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is caring, perceptive and proficient in teaching students.
