Job summary

Swing Education is hiring K-12 substitute teachers in New Jersey for the 2026-27 school year, with the freedom to choose when, where, and how you teach.

You can view and accept openings through our app, enjoy flexible schedules, and earn up to $200 per day depending on school and credentials.

Requirements include an associate's or bachelor's degree, the ability to pass a background check and TB test, and residency in New Jersey or Pennsylvania. Permit Assist helps offset credentialing costs.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, unless you hold an NJ 60 or 30 credit Instructional Substitute Credential.
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test.
• Complete a work history form in compliance with P.L. 2018, c.5 before you start.
• Must reside in the state of New Jersey or Pennsylvania.
