Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a substitute teacher to support LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis in Indiana. The ideal candidate demonstrates a mature Christian faith, active church participation, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will implement LifeWise lesson plans, maintain order in the classroom, and act as an ambassador within the community. This non-exempt, hourly position requires completing substitute teacher training and following LifeWise policies and

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis and implement provided lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and provide them to the teacher.
• Maintain a clean, attractive classroom and knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador within the community and communicate lesson plans with volunteers.
• Coordinate with the teacher and assign duties to volunteers.

Job Description

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
