Guidepost Montessori is seeking a flexible on-call Substitute Teacher to support multiple classrooms with children aged 0-6. This role offers part-time hours and the chance to gain experience that can lead to full-time Assistant Teacher positions.

You will help with routines, activities, and a nurturing environment, collaborating with staff to ensure smooth transitions and consistent care for young learners.

Qualifications

• TB test within last 12 months (minimum requirement).
• Valid state background check required.
• Warm, friendly and dependable demeanor.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

As a Substitute Teacher, you'll support multiple classrooms serving children ages 0-6 , helping maintain a calm, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.

Many of our substitute teachers go on to become full-time Assistant Teachers , making this a great opportunity to get your foot in the door at Guidepost Montessori.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred (but not required):

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) units
• Recent experience working with children ages 0-6
