Cherokee Classical Academy seeks to add to its pool of qualified substitute teachers. Substitutes provide face‑to‑face instruction with students and ensure continuity of appropriate learning during the absence of the lead teacher. Substitute teachers perform related duties in lieu of the absent educator. Substitutes must be adaptable to changing school needs and able to create and maintain a climate that promotes the mission and virtues of Cherokee Classical Academy. This position is on‑call and is assigned based on operational needs. Substitute teachers make $15 an hour and are not eligible for benefits.

Cherokee Classical Academy (CCA) is a tuition‑free public charter school in Canton, GA that opened K‑6 in 2025. CCA will continue to add a grade each year until reaching a full K‑12 configuration. Families who reside in the counties of Cherokee, Cobb, Bartow, Fulton, Pickens, Paulding, and the cities of Marietta, Cartersville, and Atlanta are eligible to apply for enrollment.
