Job summary

ESS specializes in placing qualified K–12 personnel in school district roles, including substitutes and support staff. The Substitute Support Specialist provides operational and administrative support to the Operations team in assigned districts and coordinates substitute assignments with district staff.

You will maintain employee records, ensure timely responses to emails and calls, and uphold high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

OVERVIEW:

The Substitute Support Specialist provides operational and administrative support to the Operations team in assigned school districts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Direct and control the fulfillment of substitute teacher and paraprofessional assignments within assigned school districts.
• Serve as a liaison between school district administration and ESS staff, delivering excellent customer service and timely responses to emails, calls, and in-person inquiries.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date employee records.
• Regular attendance in-office is required.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
