Salary: $271/day

The Ewing Public Schools anticipates employment opportunities for Substitute School Security Coordinators. This position would be on‑call to substitute in our district schools when security coverage is needed. Substitute School Security Coordinators will assist school administration and teaching staff in maintaining a safe, positive and harmonious school environment for the students and school community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school security best practices, crisis management and proactive approaches to school safety
• Flexible schedule is required
• Ability to legally possess and carry a firearm and maintain all training and licensing standards required.
• Experience in law enforcement, military policy or related security field required
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required
• Ability to establish positive rapport with all members of the school community
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
