Job summary

This position pays $18.25 per hour for as-needed shifts, and applicants must meet civil service eligibility and have a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Civil Service eligibility is required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to work without supervision and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Keep buildings and premises neat, safe, and clean at all times.
• Shovel, plow, and salt walks and driveways as needed.
• Dust and clean on a daily schedule; sweep or vacuum daily.
• Clean corridors after school and as needed.
• Disinfect toilet floors and sanitary fixtures daily.
• Manage trash disposal and keep waste baskets clean.
• Perform yardkeeping and basic maintenance tasks.
• Report damage to the Building Administrator promptly.
• Close the building each day and secure doors/windows.
