A regional education employer in Kentucky is seeking a Bus Operator to safely transport students in compliance with state regulations. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and a valid CDL license with appropriate endorsements. Responsibilities include driving the bus, ensuring student safety, completing inspections, and adhering to scheduled routes. The position also requires CPR certification, passing drug tests, and maintaining a cooperative environment with students, parents, and staff.

Formación

• MUST have a valid West Virginia CDL license.
• MUST pass a drug test and criminal background check.
• MUST complete the West Virginia School Bus Safety Program.

Responsabilidades

• Operate school buses safely and efficiently according to regulations.
• Maintain an accurate route schedule and student rosters.
• Perform bus pre- and post-inspections per policy.
• Assist and supervise students with disabilities.

Conocimientos

CDL license with passenger and school bus endorsement

CPR and First Aid Certification

Ability to maintain a positive work environment

Communication with students and parents
