Job summary

North Ridgeville City School District is seeking substitute school bus drivers to cover bus routes as needed. A valid CDL license, good physical health, and the ability to pass BCI/FBI background checks and a drug test are required. The current pay rate for the 2025-2026 school year is $19.52 per hour.

Employees must remain free of alcohol and non-prescribed controlled substances in the workplace and while on duty to ensure safety for students and staff in the district.

SUBSTITUTE SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS NEEDED

Requirements include but are not limited to a CDL license, good physical health, a BCI & FBI Criminal Background Check, and drug-testing.

Current rate of pay for the 2025-2026 school year is $19.52 per hour.

The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

In addition, the employee shall be free of any substance, prescribed or otherwise, that impairs the employee's work performance or the safety of others while on duty.
