Job summary

Ensemble Therapy is seeking a School-Based Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 support or classroom assistance across elementary to high school settings in Fontana, CA. The role offers a flexible substitute schedule based on district needs and supports students in achieving IEP goals.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior support plans, data collection, parent education, and collaboration with BCBA or case supervisors.

Qualifications

• Experience with children with Mild/Moderate or more severe disabilities (6–12 months).
• Ability to implement IEP-based services under supervision.
• Strong data collection and accurate record-keeping.

Position: School-Based Behavior Technician

As a Substitute Behavior Technician, you will have the opportunity to provide 1:1 support or classroom assistance at various grade levels, including:

• Elementary School
• Middle School
• High School

Your schedule will depend on the needs of the district on a daily basis.

Duties:

• Conduct services based upon IEP goals
• Collaborate and seek guidance from case supervisors or assigned BCBA to ensure best practice with implementation of services
• Implement behavior support plans as provided by your Case manager or BCBA
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client's performance via data collection and clinical notes.
• Provide parent education as directed by your Case manager or BCBA
• Engage in excellent communication skills with your Case manager or BCBA
• Assist with toileting procedures

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children with Mild/Moderate and/or Moderate/Severe disabilities or related treatments or experience working with children with behaviors within a classroom setting.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices and a drive to continually learn about and explore new treatment practices that may benefit our clients
