Job summary

Helena Public Schools in Helena, Montana is seeking a Substitute School Nurse to support student well-being across 18 campuses serving about 8,000 students. Starting pay is $140 per day. • Promote the health, well-being and academic achievement of all students by performing assessment of health disorders and providing treatment and/or appropriate medical intervention.
• Provide support for student educational opportunities through health education, health promotion, disease prevention, and case management of health conditions which will minimize absenteeism and create a climate of well being for the school community.
• Registered Nurse with at least one year of nursing experience

• This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the Helena School District and the Americal Federation of State, County and Muncipal Employees.
• Prior to employment, you must successfully complete the appropriate background check required for employment.
