Job summary

Cadence Education is seeking a Substitute Preschool Teacher to jump in during business hours and create a safe, engaging learning space for young children in our Newton location. You’ll help implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum and support teachers with daily activities, transitions, and supervision.

You’ll document milestones for families, encouraging language and social skills, and fostering a joyful, collaborative classroom atmosphere where curiosity thrives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18+ years old and enthusiastic.
• Meets all state preschool teacher assistant requirements.
• Super flexible and ready to jump in during business hours.
• Experience as a teacher assistant or in a licensed daycare.

Responsibilities

• As Substitute Preschool Teacher, create a safe, engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators to deliver age-appropriate activities.
