Job summary

Jackson School District in Missouri is seeking a dedicated aide to supervise students in classrooms, playgrounds, buses, and during lunch and other activities.

You will assist with toileting and personal care for students with disabilities, help prepare instructional materials, and maintain essential student data under the direction of certified staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 College Credits and/or Passed Praxis Exam score.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student supervision in classroom, playground, bus, lunchroom.
• Provide toileting assistance and personal care for students with disabilities.
• Respond to requests for student assistance and communicate concerns to certified staff.
• Assist certified staff in preparing instructional materials and reinforcing previously taught academic, behavioral, and social skills.
• Collect, record, and maintain academic, behavioral, and social-emotional data.
• Support the implementation of instructional and behavioral interventions and reinforce positive student behaviors.
• Monitor students during instructional activities, individualized learning, and free play under the direction of certified staff.
• Perform classroom housekeeping and routine clerical duties.
• Maintain student records, including attendance, schedules, logs, and other required documentation.
• Answer and relay routine telephone messages, as directed.
• Prepare, reproduce, process, file, and distribute instructional materials, correspondence, reports, and other documents as assigned.

$115.00per day with a HS Degree

$130.00 per day with 60 credits from an accredited college
