The North Polk Community School District is a progressive educational community located in the Des Moines metro area just north of Ankeny serving the communities of Alleman, Elkhart, Polk City, Sheldahl, and Northern Ankeny. The District proudly serves over 2000 learners from preschool through 12th grade in five buildings (West Elementary, PK-2nd; Big Creek, 3rd-5th; Central Elementary, PK-5th; Middle School, 6th-8th; High School, 9th-12th).

We are looking for qualified substitute paraeducators that are excited to join the team to support student learning during paraeducator absences. Pick up assignments when you want, based on your schedule!

Compensation:
$16.00 per hour

Benefits:

• Substitutes are eligible for IPERS immediately (no qualification period).
• Flexible Work Schedule. Pick up positions that will work for you!

School Hours:
8:15 AM - 3:15 PM.

• Adhering to the Individual Education Plan and maintaining confidentiality regarding student educational programming.
