Job summary

Lester Prairie Public School is seeking a Substitute Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with special needs and assist teachers with daily lesson plans. The position is on-site at the Lester Prairie preK-12 School with hours from 7:45 to 3:00.

The role requires an AA degree or 60 college credits, or a ParaPro score, and a background check before employment. On-call start date applies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Duties: Provide assistance to students with special needs and support teachers in the implementation of daily lesson plans. Assists district personnel in supervising and supporting preK-12 grade students with and/or without special needs in a variety of activities. Performs other duties of a comparable level or type, as required

Minimum Qualifications: An A.A. degree or at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the ParaPro assessment. Background check will need to be completed before employment.
