Job summary

Monroe Township Schools is seeking a Substitute School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year. The role requires NJ RN licensure and NJ School Nurse Certification, with experience serving medically fragile students and delivering health education in a Pre-K–12 setting.

You will promote health and safety in the school environment, provide health services to students, staff, and faculty, and assist with teaching sound health practices during the school day.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Jersey.
• New Jersey School Nurse Certification approved by NJ Department of Education.
• Experience with medically fragile populations and health education for a Pre-K–12 population.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current license as a registered nurse in New Jersey.
• Must hold New Jersey School Nurse Certification as approved by the NJ Department of Education.
• Prior experience working with a medically fragile population, in addition to having experience providing health care and health education programs for a Pre-Kindergarten – 12th grade population.

Salary

$225.00 per day; as needed position.
