The role is part-time with a 10-month calendar, offering flexible duties to assist teachers and students in daily instructional activities. Under supervision, you will help implement lessons, prepare materials, supervise students during various periods, and contribute to a safe, organized classroom environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates or higher degree required for placement as Instructional Aide II.
• Eligible for Arizona Substitute Teacher Certificate.
• Related experience and/or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the classroom under supervision of certified teaching staff.
• Support instruction and activities for individual students or small groups.
• Prepare teaching aids and materials as directed.
• Participate in student activities and promote positive behavior.
• Monitor students during teacher absences and during breaks as needed.
• Assist with supervision during arrival, lunch, and dismissal.
• Support with health, safety, and basic first aid per district guidelines.
• Perform clerical and classroom housekeeping duties as needed.
