Legends Global is seeking a Substitute Dance Instructor to fill in when regular instructors are unavailable. This part-time, hourly role teaches a variety of ages across ballet, jazz, hip hop and more under direct supervision.
You will lead classes, follow approved lesson plans, maintain a safe, positive environment, and communicate professionally with participants and families. Availability in the evenings and weekends is required, with up to 25 hours per week.

Dance Coordinator
Under direct supervision, the Substitute Dance Instructor fills in when regularly scheduled instructors are unable to teach, and provides instruction to participants of a variety of ages including early childhood, youth, teens, and/or adults. The dance formats include, but are not limited to, ballet, jazz, acrobatics, tap, musical theater, and hip hop.

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must possess current Red Cross CPR certification. Additional specialty/certifications are preferred. Must have working knowledge of fine arts, dance, and training principles. Instructor must have a working knowledge of group dance teaching strategies and the incorporation of music, technique, and safe dance practices. The ability to be professional and motivate class participants is required. Also required is the ability to cooperate, work well with other staff members, work with limited supervision, and think as a team member. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
(Hours): Part-Time. Year Round. This is a part-time position with up to 25 hours per week (hours vary seasonally). Must have availability in the evenings weekly.
