• Clean chalkboards and chalk trays.

• Clean furniture.
• Vacuum and spot clean carpeted areas.
• Bonnet and extract carpets using approved methods.
• Clean sinks.
• Clean windows.
• Fill all types of dispensers and empty pencil sharpeners.
• Straighten student desks.
• Dust high and low.
• Change light bulbs – only when more than one custodian is present.
• Clean drinking fountains.
• Change air filters.
• Perform minor repairs to building and equipment.
• Wash walls.
• Prep, clean, and apply finish to tile floors, as needed.
• Sweep stairwells, entryways, and thresholds.
• Repair classroom furniture and minor plumbing.
