Job summary

Florence County School District Five's District Office in Johnsonville, SC is seeking a Substitute Custodian to support the custodial/maintenance department on an as-needed basis.

To substitute for the custodial / maintenance department for Florence County School District Five on an as needed basis.

A South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) criminal history report is required for every prospective employee of Florence County School District Five. The district office will obtain this report.

JOB GOAL: To maintain the physical school plant and grounds in a condition of excellence so that full educational use of them may be made at all times

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assumes responsibility for the general security of the building.
• Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building.
• Performs emergency cleaning services as necessary.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Lifting, operating, carrying, and moving work-related supplies/equipment. Position

Requires medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
