Job summary

Tri-Valley Heartland Express is seeking a Bus Driver responsible for passenger safety and high-quality customer service while transporting riders on scheduled routes.

Duties include pre/post trip inspections, operating wheelchair lift, collecting fares, enforcing policies, and reporting incidents; minimum requirements include CDL with Passenger Endorsement, 3 years driving, drug tests; wage is $21.75/hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement.
• Three years of driving experience minimum.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Maintain acceptable MVR on hire and annually.
• Participate in drug/alcohol testing as appropriate.
• Wage for an unqualified bus driver: $21.75/hour.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports passengers to destinations on scheduled routes.
• Safely operates wheelchair lift and securement area.
• Assist ambulatory passengers with walkers or carts as needed.
• Promote safety by enforcing passenger policies and seatbelt use.
• Complete daily/monthly records and reports; participate in training and meetings.
