Job Description

SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER

RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Transportation

• Be responsible for the transportation of the students assigned to him by the Director of Transportation.
• Perform proper maintenance on his bus and see that the proper inspections are completed.
• Exhibit the qualities of good driving, citizenship, and public relations at all times while operating a school bus.
• Transport students on approved field trips.
• See that the local, state, and federal boards of education regulations are carried out.
• Furnish necessary information when requested by the central office.
• Attend in-service training when requested.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Transportation, Superintendent, and the Board of Education.
