Job summary

GLOW Academy in Wilmington is seeking experienced bus driver substitutes with their CDL and S and P endorsements. This all-girls public charter school serves grades 6-12.

Compensation is based on the NHC Bus Hourly Pay Schedule, with current pay ranging from $18.50 to $23.10 per hour. Schedule includes morning and afternoon shifts, safety inspections, and student supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL Class B with Passenger and School Endorsements.
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• TB test completed or cleared.

Responsibilities

• Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons on an as needed basis.
• Verify permissions for children who ride home with friends.
• Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound bus at all times.
• Obey all traffic laws.
• Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route.
• Ensure safety of all students.
• Assist students with getting on and off the bus when required.
• CPR a plus!

PART-TIME SUBSTITUTE BUS DRIVER

GLOW Academy in Wilmington is seeking experienced bus driver substitutes with their CDL and S and P endorsements. GLOW is an all-girls public charter school serving grades 6-12.

Position Details:

• Reports To: Transportation Coordinator
• Compensation: Based off of NHC Bus Hourly Pay Schedule
  • Current Pay Schedule Range: $18.50 - $23.10 per hour

• Transport children to and from school in the mornings and afternoons on an as needed basis.
