A local school district is seeking a part-time Substitute Bus Driver to ensure the safe transport of students on designated routes. The role involves operating a school bus, managing student behavior, and the ability to follow instructions. Candidates must have a valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with P and S endorsement or the ability to obtain it. Additional qualifications include passing a drug test and completing bus driver safety training. Immediate starting date available.

Formación

Job Description

Ensure safe and orderly transportation of students on assigned route. Operate school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from schools or other designated locations.

Salary Range: $25.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License with P and S Endorsement; or
• Ability to obtain CDL with P and S Endorsement;
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug test
• Ability to pass DOT physical
• Ability to pass required bus driver safety training
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to manage student behavior
• Ability to operate a bus
