Job summary

Convent and Stuart Hall is seeking excellent candidates for the role of Substitute Associate Teacher. This temporary position provides leave coverage with a possibility of a continuing role, supporting Lead Teachers and Lower Form students across kindergarten through fourth grade.

Ideal candidates have an undergraduate degree, strong writing and communication skills with children and adults, and experience with instructional technology (iPads, laptops, Google Apps). Campus presence required.

Convent and Stuart Hall is seeking excellent candidates for the role of Substitute Associate Teacher. This is a temporary position for leave coverage with a possibility of a continuing position. Associate Teachers are essential members of the Convent & Stuart Hall community. They not only form a special bond with their Lead Teacher, but also participate in all school activities as full faculty members. Their energy, enthusiasm, and new ideas are greatly valued at our school. The primary purpose of the Associate Teacher Program is to support our Lead Teachers and Lower Form students. An interest in pursuing a career in education with excellent writing and communication skills with both children and adults. History of collegiality and collaboration with other teachers and administrators. Requires experience using a wide range of instructional technology tools including iPads, laptops, and Google Apps. Must be detail-oriented, organized and willing to take initiative. Must have excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well with students and adults. Must be a role model and maintain a high level of professionalism.
