Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Part-Time Substation Training Instructor to deliver hands-on, skill-focused training for its apprentice program in Amarillo, TX. You will teach multi-week sessions using an established curriculum and ensure safety and trainee engagement.
The role requires delivering 10-hour teaching days, preparing curriculum in off weeks, and coordinating with instructors. A Journeyman Substation Electrician with 4–5+ years of substation experience is required.

We are looking for an experienced Substation Training Instructor to deliver hands‑on, skill‑focused training for our apprentice development program. In this part‑time role, you will deliver in‑person instruction for multi‑week substation apprentice schools, using an established curriculum designed to train the next generation of substation professionals.
You will teach four structured apprentice programs per year (1st‑4th year), along with one week of preparation time before each session.
Visits to substations or training sites require personal protective equipment such as FR clothing, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety boots.
