Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is seeking a Substation Technician to assist in installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of Transmission and Distribution Substations.

The role is managed from Cloverdale, VA with travel across Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia. Ideal candidates have a Class A CDL with medical card (or within 6 months), 1 year of experience (2+ preferred), own hand tools, and a solid understanding of electrical substations.

• Valid Class A CDL license and medical card recommended (required within 6mos)
• 1 year of experience required
• 1-2 years of experience recommended
• Own your own hand tools
• Intermediate understanding of electrical substations
• Willing to travel
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening

Job Description

As a Substation Technician you will be assisting in the installation, construction, maintenance, and repair of Transmission and Distribution Substations. This position is managed out of Cloverdale, VA with work in multiple locations and opportunities throughout Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia.
