WSP USA is seeking a Substation Structural Engineer to join our Power & Energy Civil Structural Substation Team. You will contribute to design, analysis, and documentation for electrical substation projects, collaborating with cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver compliant, buildable solutions.
The role requires 3–5 years of post‑education experience, EIT certification, and proficiency with structural codes and FE analysis tools. On-site work and occasional travel may be required.

WSP is currently initiating a search for an experienced Substation Structural Engineer for our Duluth, GA office. The following locations will also be considered: Baton Rouge, LA. Provides technical assistance and guidance for the planning, analysis, design, and delivery of structural engineering solutions supporting electrical substation projects. Tasks may include assisting with engineering design, calculation development, specifications, and construction documentation for load-bearing structures and structural elements (steel structures, rigid bus supports, and foundations). Ensures that responsibilities are delivered and adhered to with a level of quality that meets or exceeds acceptable industry standards for design, safety, structural soundness, and functionality.
