Job summary

A leading technical services provider is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the Project Managers in constructing high voltage electrical substations and transmission lines. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and have three years of related experience. Responsibilities include assisting with project scheduling, cost management, and coordination of materials. This role requires excellent communication and technical writing skills, along with the ability to navigate active construction environments.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in the design, construction, or operations of substations or transmission lines preferred.
• Three years of experience in budget management and supervision preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of substations and transmission systems is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in managing construction projects.
• Coordinate with Purchasing for material expediting.
• Help prepare and maintain cash flows and monthly billing.
