Job summary

A leading electrical engineering firm in Houston seeks an Assistant Project Manager to aid in project development and oversight for high voltage electrical construction. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Civil Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include supporting the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of projects, while ensuring materials are procured timely. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant fields.
• 3+ years of experience in design/construction of substations or transmission lines.
• Experience in managing budgets and work groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with project planning and execution.
• Coordinate material procurement for projects.
• Prepare and maintain cash flows and monthly billing.
• Develop project estimates and support sales proposals.
• Resolve project conflicts and delays.
